Thoughts from a terrified pup - Mya: "As the evil Easter Bunny plotted our demise, I was forced to pose for this photo. Normally I chase bunnies, but this one? Pure terror. After the photo op, Mom redeemed the day with an Easter feast on the patio for Dad, Mom, Aunt Audrey, Tara’s dad—and us pups ate like royalty!"

Merry Christmas from the McGuire crew - festive food, full hearts, and plenty of holiday cheer at The Oaks! Tara made sure everyone lined up for the annual family photo (no excuses allowed!), and Barry officially earned his spot in the McGuire holiday traditions. It was a picture Christmas.

Celebrating Dad’s birthday at Malone’s where Barry learned of the tradition of preparing Mama's famous red velvet cake every year for this special occasion.

Greased Lightnin’ stole the show, cruising to victory in six Annual Dog Halloween Costume Contests! Tara as Sandy and Barry as Danny brought the ‘You’re the One That I Want’ vibes to life, while Gracie rocked her Thunderbird look and Mya charmed as a Beauty School Dropout. Plenty of puppy cuteness, retro fun, and a love story that’s still electrifying!

Four years of tail wags, treats, and snuggles—Mya celebrated in style with cake, toys, and her little sister by her side.

Back where it all began on our first vacation together—the Pink Shell, with waves as their witness, where Barry popped the question and their forever story started. Now, with the resort in the background, a preview of the oceanfront magic where they’ll say “I do.”

“Barry and Dad worked their magic to make sure the whole family was there for a big moment. As dinner wound down, Barry slipped away to gather everyone while Dad kept Tara and the pups distracted. Barry led Tara to where the family was waiting. First, he ‘proposed’ to Mya and Gracie with engagement ring–themed dog cookies. Then, Barry dropped to one knee in front of everyone—and ‘Will you?’ turned into ‘Yes!’”

I said YES to the dress this weekend at Violet's by Dianne 🩷💍, surrounded by my cousins Nikea, Megan, and Audrey, Evie, Aunt Trish, Aunt Brenda, and Dianne. Dad (Patrick) and Aunt Linda were right there with us through photo and video updates, sharing their feedback in real time. Special thanks to Kevin and Barry for staying behind and preparing dinner for everyone 🍽️—ending the day with a special girls’ dinner at Kevin’s was the perfect way to celebrate.

A Couple's Shower we’ll never forget 🤍 Hosted by my incredible Maids of Honor, Megan and Audrey, this day was filled with so much love, laughter, and thoughtful details. Surrounded by Aunt Brenda, Robin, Craig, Erika, Alec, Shannon, Laura, Joe & his fiancé, Tim, Uncle Mickey, Dad, and so many others, Barry and I felt unbelievably celebrated. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who helped make it so special—it’s a memory we’ll cherish forever.

Amazed by all who came to my Bridal Shower last weekend at Lexington Tennis Club hosted by Doris and Mily. From the games to the cake, food and fruit tart, to the decor and the amazing company, these ladies and gents are incredible and so appreciated.

The most unforgettable Bachelorette Celebration My Maids of Honor (and cousins!) Audrey and Megan planned the most incredible bachelorette—starting with dinner at 3TEN, followed by a white tablecloth dessert at Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse featuring a Louis Vuitton–inspired cake that arrived smoking on dry ice. We ended the night at a drag show and dancing our way through Lexington—unforgettable from start to finish 🤍
